The grandfather to the protagonist in my book Truthserum had a saying ’Everything under the Sun’. Inspired by that, with this painting I wanted to illustrate how the joy of life - and life itself – origins from the Sun. The joy of life is expressed in so many ways – here shown when dancing (modern, ballet, flamenco), horses running and beautiful birds (flamingos, a peacock and a pheasant). On top you see that dance is in the eye of the beholder.
